Answer

x2 - y2 - 2x + 2y

Using the formula

[∵ (x2 - y2) = (x + y)(x - y)]

= (x2 - y2) - (2x - 2y)

= (x - y)(x + y) - 2(x - y)

= (x - y)((x + y) - 2)

= (x - y)(x + y - 2)

Hence,x2 - y2 - 2x + 2y = (x - y)(x + y - 2)
