(2) we get ⇒ 3x + 4(3) - 24 = 0 ⇒ 3x + 12 - 24 = 0 ⇒ 3x - 12 = 0 ⇒ 3x = 12 ⇒ x = ⇒ x = 4 ∴ x = 4 and y = 3 Hence, option 4 is the correct option.
