Answer

As we know,

h = ut + 12\dfrac{1}{2} gt2, where,

g = acceleration due to gravity,

t = time

h = height fallen by the body.

Given,

u = 0

Hence, on substituting the values we get,

h = (0 x t) + 12\dfrac{1}{2} gt2

= 0 + 12\dfrac{1}{2} gt2

= 12\dfrac{1}{2} gt2

Therefore, maximum height attained by the body = 12\dfrac{1}{2} gt2
