As we know,

g = GMR2\dfrac{GM}{R^2}

where,

g = acceleration due to gravity

G = gravitational constant

m = mass of earth

R = radius of earth.

Hence, we can say that acceleration due to gravity (g) is directly proportional to universal gravitational constant (G).
