Equation : x2 - 2x = (-2)(3 - x)
Solving above equation,
⇒ x2 - 2x = -6 + 2x
⇒ x2 - 2x - 2x + 6 = 0
⇒ x2 - 4x + 6 = 0.
The above equation is of the form ax2 + bx + c = 0.
Hence, the above equation is a quadratic equation.
