Steps:

  1. Draw AC = 6.6 cm.

  2. Draw the perpendicular bisector of AC. Let PQ be the perpendicular bisector of AC which bisects AC at point O.

  3. From OP, cut OD = BD2\dfrac{BD}{2} = 5.82\dfrac{5.8}{2} = 2.9 cm and from OQ, cut OB = BD2\dfrac{BD}{2} = 2.9 cm.

  4. Join AB, BC, CD and DA.

Construct a rhombus ABCD, if: Constructions, Concise Mathematics Solutions ICSE Class 8.

Hence, ABCD is the required rhombus.
