⇒ 15x2 - 28 = x
⇒ 15x2 - x - 28 = 0
Comparing 15x2 - x - 28 = 0 with ax2 + bx + c = 0 we get,
a = 15, b = -1 and c = -28.
We know that,
Discriminant (D) = b2 - 4ac = (1)2 - 4 × 15 × -28
= 1 - (-1680) = 1 + 1680 = 1681; which is positive and is a perfect square.
Hence, the roots are rational and unequal.
