Ozone layer can be protected by :
- Use of products that contain CFC's to be replaced by alternative products.
- Substitutes for CFC's have been initiated by scientists and use of HCFC [hydro chlorofluorocarbons] is being considered. Labelling products as CFC free is initiated.
- International Treaty [Montreal protocol] was also initiated to prevent ozone depletion.
