(i) Let r be the radius of the circle.
The area of circle = 154 cm2
As we know, the area of the circle = πr2
Circumference of the circle = 2πr
Hence, the radius of the circle is 7 cm and the circumference is 44 cm.
(ii) Let r be the radius of the circle.
The area of circle = 6.16 m2
As we know, the area of the circle = πr2
Circumference of the circle = 2πr
Hence, the radius of the circle is 1.4 m and the circumference is 8.8 m.
