8 - 3x ≤ 20
⇒ -3x ≤ 20 - 8
⇒ -3x ≤ 12
Dividing both sides by -3 we get.
⇒ x ≥ -4 (As on dividing by negative no. the sign reverses.)
∴ Solution set = {x : x ∈ R and x ≥ -4}.
