⇒ 16x² = 25

⇒ 16x² - 25 = 0

⇒ (4x)² - (5)² = 0

⇒ (4x + 5)(4x - 5) = 0

⇒ 4x + 5 = 0 or 4x - 5 = 0 [Using Zero-product rule]

⇒ 4x = -5 or 4x = 5

⇒ x = $\dfrac{-5}{4}$ or x = $\dfrac{5}{4}$ .

Hence, x = $\Big{\dfrac{5}{4}, \dfrac{-5}{4}\Big}$ .
