⇒ x2 + 6x - 4x - 24 = 0
⇒ x(x + 6) - 4(x + 6) = 0
⇒ (x - 4)(x + 6) = 0
⇒ x - 4 = 0 or x + 6 = 0 [Using Zero-product rule]
⇒ x = 4 or x = -6.
Hence, x = {-6, 4}.
