⇒ 2^{3x + 3} = 2^{3x + 1} + 48

⇒ 2^3x.2³ = 2^3x.2¹ + 48

⇒ 8.2^3x = 2.2^3x + 48

⇒ 8.2^3x - 2.2^3x = 48

⇒ 6.2^3x = 48

⇒ 2^3x = $\dfrac{48}{6}$

⇒ 2^3x = 8

⇒ 2^3x = 2³

⇒ 3x = 3

⇒ x = $\dfrac{3}{3}$ = 1.

Hence, x = 1.
