⇒ 36x - 30 - 35x + 40 = 48 - 12x + 1

⇒ 1x + 10 = 49 - 12x

⇒ 1x + 12x = 49 - 10

⇒ 13x = 39

⇒ x = 3913\dfrac{39}{13}

⇒ x = 3

Hence, the value of x is 3.
