Answer

3 tan2 (2x - 20°) = 1

⇒ tan2 (2x - 20°) = 13\dfrac{1}{3}

⇒ tan (2x - 20°) = 13\sqrt\dfrac{1}{3}

⇒ tan (2x - 20°) = 13\dfrac{1}{\sqrt3}

⇒ tan (2x - 20°) = tan 30°

So, 2x - 20° = 30°

⇒ 2x = 30° + 20°

⇒ 2x = 50°

⇒ x = 50°2\dfrac{50°}{2}

⇒ x = 25°

Hence, x = 25°.
