The adjacent sides of a rectangle are 20 cm and 24 cm.

The perimeter of rectangle = The circumference of a circle
Let r be the radius of the circle.

As we know, the perimeter of the rectangle = 2(length + breadth)
And, the circumference of the circle = 2πr
⇒ 2(20 + 24) = 2 x x r
⇒ 2 x 44 = x r
⇒ 88 = x r
⇒ r =
⇒ r =
⇒ r = 14 cm
Hence, option 1 is the correct option.
