Answer

Given:

The diameter of a circular wheel = 56 cm

Total number of rounds = 100

Since diameter = 2 x Radius

⇒ Radius = Diameter2\dfrac{\text{Diameter}}{2}

⇒ Radius = 562\dfrac{56}{2}

= 28 cm

As we know, the circumference of a circle = 2πr

=2×227×28=447×28=1,2327=176 cm= 2 \times \dfrac{22}{7} \times 28\\[1em] = \dfrac{44}{7} \times 28\\[1em] = \dfrac{1,232}{7}\\[1em] = 176 \text{ cm}

Total distance = circumference of the circle x number of rounds

= 176 x 100

= 17600 cm

Hence, option 2 is the correct option.
