Let s be the side of the cube.
Volume of cuboid = Volume of cube
⇒ l x b x h = side3
⇒ s3 = 9 x 8 x 3 cm3
⇒ s3 = 216 cm3
⇒ s = cm
⇒ s = 6 cm
The edge of the cube formed is 6 cm.
