Let side of square be x units.
Given,
Area = Perimeter
⇒ (side)2 = 4 × side
⇒ x2 = 4x
⇒ x2 - 4x = 0
⇒ x(x - 4) = 0
⇒ x = 0 or x - 4 = 0
⇒ x = 0 or x = 4.
Since, side cannot be equal to zero.
∴ Side = 4 units
Perimeter = 4 × 4 = 16 units.
Hence, Option 4 is the correct option.
