Sum of n terms = 3n2
Sum upto 2 terms = 3(2)2 = 3 × 4 = 12.
Sum upto 1 term = 3(1)2 = 3 × 1 = 3.
2nd term = Sum upto 2 terms - Sum upto 1 terms = 12 - 3 = 9.
Hence, Option 3 is the correct option.
