⇒ x - 2 + x + x + 2 = 87
⇒ 3x = 87
⇒ x =
⇒ x = 29
Other numbers are (x - 2), (x + 2)
= (29 - 2) , (29 + 2)
= 27, 31
The larger number is 31.
