Steps of construction :
Draw a line segment AB = 5 cm.
Draw AX ⊥ AB.
With A and B as center and radii equal to 5.5 cm and 2.5 cm respectively draw arcs cutting each other at C. Join AC and BC.
With C as center and radius equal to 6 cm draw arc cutting AX at D.
Join AD and CD.
Hence, ABCD is the required quadrilateral.
