This is done by developing computer systems and algorithms that are capable of learning from data, reasoning, understanding natural language, perceiving their environments and adapting to new situations. The goal of AI is to create efficient systems capable of mimicking or surpassing human intellectual abilities, such as pattern recognition, problem-solving and decision-making. AI is used to enhance and improve the efficiency of many objects that we use in our day-to-day lives like smartphones, video games, shopping experiences and even some toys.
