3x - 2 = 7
⇒ 3x = 7 + 2
⇒ 3x = 9

And, 8 - 3y = 2
⇒ 3y = 8 - 2
⇒ 3y = 6
⇒ y =
⇒ y = 2
Therefore, the co-ordinates of the point = (3, 2).
Hence, option 1 is the correct option.
