Let parallelogram ABCD has diagonal AC = 6.5 cm, diagonal BD = 4 cm and the acute angle between the diagonals = 60°.

Steps of construction:

  1. Draw AC = 6.5 cm and locate its mid point O.

  2. Draw line BOD such that ∠DOC = 60° and

OB = OD = 12\dfrac{1}{2} BD = 12×\dfrac{1}{2} \times 4 = 2 cm.

  1. Join AB, BC, CD and DA.
