r1 = 20 cm
r2 = 15 cm

Area of ring shaped region = π(r12 - r22)
= π(202 - 152) cm2
= π(400 - 225) cm2
= π x 175 cm2
= x 175 cm2
= 22 x 25 cm2
= 550 cm2
Hence, the area of ring shaped region is 550 cm2.
