⇒ ∠CBD > ∠BCE
⇒ 180° - ∠CBD < 180° - ∠BCE
⇒ ∠ABC < ∠ACB
⇒ AC < AB (If two angles of a triangle are unequal, the greater angle has the greater side opposite to it)
⇒ AB > AC.
Hence, proved that AB > AC.
