Let length = l and breadth = b
Given,
Perimeter =
l = 2b
By formula,
Perimeter = 2(l + b)
⇒ = 2(2b + b)
⇒ = 3b
⇒ 3b = 300
⇒ b = 100 m.
⇒ l = 2b = 2 × 100 = 200 m.
Area = l × b
= 200 × 100
= 20000 m2.
Hence, area of the field = 20000 m2.
