Answer

For A :

M.P. = ₹ 1000

Discount% = 10%

Discount = 10100×1000\dfrac{10}{100} \times 1000 = ₹ 100

Discounted value = ₹ 1000 - ₹ 100 = ₹ 900.

No. of items = 2

Total price = 2 × ₹ 900 = ₹ 1800.

For B :

M.P. = ₹ 2000

Discount% = 20%

Discount = 20100×2000\dfrac{20}{100} \times 2000 = ₹ 400

Discounted value = ₹ 2000 - ₹ 400 = ₹ 1600.

No. of items = 1

Total price = 1 × ₹ 1600 = ₹ 1600

GST = 5%

GST = 5100×1600\dfrac{5}{100} \times 1600 = ₹ 80

Total price (including GST) = ₹ 1600 + ₹ 80 = ₹ 1680

Hence, Total bill = ₹ 1800 + ₹ 1680 = ₹ 3480.
