Answer

Gram molecular mass of sodium hydroxide
= Na + O + H
= 23 + 16 + 1
= 40 g

As, 40 g of sodium hydroxide = 1 mole

∴ 160 g of sodium hydroxide = 140×160=4 moles\dfrac{ 1}{40} \times 160 = 4 \text{ moles}

Hence, number of moles in 160 g of sodium hydroxide is 4
