Find the potential difference required to flow a current of 200 mA in a wire of resistance 20 Ω.

Given,
Current (I) = 200 mA = 0.2 A
Resistance (R) = 20 Ω
Potential difference (V) = ?
From Ohm's law
V = IR
Substituting the values in the formula above, we get,
V = 0.2 × 20
V = 4 V
Hence, the required potential difference = 4 V
