Discount % = 10%

Discount = 10100×5,000\dfrac{10}{100} \times 5,000 = ₹ 500

Discounted price = ₹ 5,000 - ₹ 500 = ₹ 4,500

GST = 12100×4,500\dfrac{12}{100} \times 4,500 = ₹ 540

Amount paid by customer = Discounted price + GST

= ₹ 4,500 + ₹ 540

= ₹ 5,040.
