Rate of GST = 12%
Discount % = 10%
Discount = = ₹ 500
Discounted price = ₹ 5,000 - ₹ 500 = ₹ 4,500
GST = = ₹ 540
Amount paid by customer = Discounted price + GST
= ₹ 4,500 + ₹ 540
= ₹ 5,040.
Hence, option 1 is the correct option.
