and, Tax = 6% of ₹ 158

Total amount to be paid by Sarita for biscuits = ₹ 158 + ₹ 9.48
= ₹ 167.48
Sale price of the cosmetic goods = ₹ 354
and, Tax = 9% of ₹ 354

Total amount to be paid by Sartia for cosmetic goods = ₹ 354 + ₹ 31.86
= ₹ 385.86
Total amount paid by Sartia = ₹ 167.48 + ₹ 385.86
= ₹ 553.34
