Answer

For article A :

M.P. = ₹ 1000

Rate of G.S.T. = 5%

G.S.T. = G.S.T.%100×M.P.=5100×1000\dfrac{G.S.T. \%}{100} \times M.P. = \dfrac{5}{100} \times 1000 = ₹ 50.

Amount = M.P. + G.S.T. = ₹ 1000 + ₹ 50 = ₹ 1050.

For article B :

M.P. = ₹ 2000

Rate of G.S.T. = 12%

G.S.T. = G.S.T.%100×M.P.=12100×2000\dfrac{G.S.T. \%}{100} \times M.P. = \dfrac{12}{100} \times 2000 = ₹ 240.

Amount = M.P. + G.S.T. = ₹ 2000 + ₹ 240 = ₹ 2240.

Total bill for article A and B = ₹ 1050 + ₹ 2240 = ₹ 3290.

Hence, Option 3 is the correct option.
