(i) From table,

tan 37° = 0.7536

Hence, tan 37° = 0.7536

(ii) From table,

tan 42° 18' = 0.9099

Hence, tan 42° 18' = 0.9099

(iii) From table,

tan 17° 24' = 0.3134

Difference of 3' = 0.0010       [To add]

∴ tan 17° 27' = 0.3134 + 0.0010 = 0.3144

Hence, tan 17° 27' = 0.3144
