gm mol. wt. of CO2 = 12 + (16 x 2) = 44 g

1 mole of CO2 = 1 gm mol. wt.

22.4 lit of CO2 has mass 44 g [s.t.p.]

Therefore, 2.8 lit of CO2 has mass

=4422.4×2.8=5.5 g= \dfrac{44}{22.4} \times 2.8 = 5.5 \text{ g}

Therefore, mass of 2.8 litres of CO2 is 5.5 g
