(i) Given,
⇒ (x + 7)(x + 4)
⇒ x2 + 4x + 7x + 28
⇒ x2 + 11x + 28.
Hence, (x + 7)(x + 4) = x2 + 11x + 28.
(ii) Given,
⇒ (a + 13)(a - 8)
⇒ a2 - 8a + 13a - 104
⇒ a2 - 5a - 104.
Hence, (a + 13)(a - 8) = a2 + 5a - 104.
(iii) Given,
⇒ (y - 6)(y - 4)
⇒ y2 - 4y - 6y + 24
⇒ y2 - 10y + 24.
Hence, (y - 6)(y - 4) = y2 - 10y + 24.
